Pagebud is operated by Pagebud Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. References to "Pagebud", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy refer to Pagebud Ltd.

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and any information you provide via your third-party authentication provider (Clerk).

Usage data. We collect information about how you use Pagebud — pages visited, features used, and actions taken. This helps us improve the product.

Business data you provide. When you generate a website, we store the business information you enter (name, address, services, etc.) and the HTML we generate. This is necessary to let you preview and edit your sites.

Billing information. If you purchase credits or a PRO subscription, payment is handled by Stripe. We never store your full card details — only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

Cookies and local storage. We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or sell your browsing data.

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Pagebud service
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Send you transactional emails (receipts, account notices)
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your business data or generated websites to train AI models.

We use the following third-party services to operate Pagebud:

Clerk — user authentication and account management. Privacy policy at clerk.com/privacy.

Supabase — database hosting. Data is stored in EU-region servers. Privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. Privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.

Anthropic — AI generation. The business data you provide is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your website HTML. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.

Vercel — hosting and CDN. Privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Upstash — rate limiting. Only your Clerk user ID is used. Privacy policy at upstash.com/trust/privacy.

We retain your account data and generated sites for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (e.g., billing records are retained for 7 years under UK tax law).

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• **Rectify** inaccurate personal data
• **Erase** your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
• **Restrict** or **object to** our processing
• **Portability** — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• **Withdraw consent** at any time where processing is consent-based

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Supabase Row Level Security ensuring you can only access your own data
• Clerk's industry-standard authentication (including MFA support)
• Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant payment handling

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we take it seriously.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on our website. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
